I'm trying to do a similar work up. I found some .311 dia 217 grain hardcast bullets. With the gas checks, they come to 225 grains.

I did some quick math, and I am thinking of trying a load with 15 grains of BL-(C)2. I believe my velocities should be around 1100 fps at hopefully enough pressure to cycle the bolt on an ar-15. It may have a tough time until I'm able to get a suppressor on it, because the pressure will be a little low.

@osprey any guidance on where to locate 195gr or heavier .310 - .312 bullets? Hard cast lead would be fine. Intended use is in a cz527 x39 running suppressed. Would also appreciate any recommendations on powder with an eye towards 80% or better fill of the case.

I load these in 300 BLK and they work fine for what I use them for, ringing steel with subsonic loads. If using them in x39, I'd slug the bore of your barrel(s) as many are .311 diameter and these may be a little smaller diameter than ideal. Or they may work without leading or accuracy issues, could be worth a try. They are pretty economical.
