So, I've read ICORE has a new(er) division called Big Six that involves competing with a wheelgun with a .40 or greater bore. Sounds super neato! Particularly considering the type of revolver shooting I've been doing in recent memory.

Which big boomer would you select for the aforementioned competition? (Despite the usual penchant for the classic or wacky, I'm heavily leaning towards the 629 with the 5" tube. The other two forty-fours could work. The big .50 is included for silliness and I'm not sure if would even be allowed.)

Thanks for voting / opining. :)

Alas, no optics!

3.1.10. Big 6 is a revolver fulfilling all of the following four criteria a-d (REV Jan 1, 2024):

(a) Having only six (6) chambers in the cylinder
(b) .40 caliber or greater
(c) Minimum power factor of 155
(d) Having no optics

Seriously now,

A Ruger GP-100 in 10mm would be perfect for this class. Shoot soft .40 S&W level loads in a heavy revolver like this, now that would be fun, fun, fun!
