Legality can be defined as an act, agreement, or contract that is consistent with the law or state of being lawful or unlawful in a given jurisdiction.
Legal principle that an accused may not be prosecuted for an act that is not declared a crime in that jurisdiction is actually about the Principle of legality which is part of the overall concept of legality.
