Quityerbithin' and get out and talk to people. Educate yourselves and educate others. We all want to be left alone but that isn't working out for us. Find a way to ease into a discussion at church, work, family get togethers, school and sports functions, and even while standing in line at the grocery store. Nothing changes until enough people actually do something.

And fill out your ballots today. Many county and city seats are decided in this election, not in November. Fill in the block for every PCP in your precinct. If they took the time to fill out the application and get endorsed by their peers, they deserve your vote. Those are the people that are writing post cards, stuffing envelopes, making the phone calls and knocking on doors in the rain. You can even go to your county web site and sign up as a write-in, get two more people to vote for you, and become an elected PCP yourself - if you're willing to do the work.

You'd be shocked if you realized just how many "gun owners" haven't a clue how their rights are being stripped and they can't find the time to call, email or even pay attention...yet here we are.
Absolutely correct.
Walk into any gun store and you'll hear all kinds of people complaining as they fill out their paperwork who have never heard of 594, 1639, or all the various anti-gun legislation passed by the state legislature in the last few years. It's maddening.

There are sources that say half of all hunters don't vote. That's crazy. Pardon the pun, but that is a target-rich environment for ballot chasing.

Talk to everyone you know who hunts or engages in recreational shooting. I do, and that's the way you start to effect some change.

😩Sorry….
…. But, ya see, my brass knuckles are in the shop being polished.
Maybe next week ? Y'know, unless they need an alignment or sumpin' …
… tell ya what, I'll call ya when I know? :s0155:

Write to the people running different clubs and ask them to include updates in their monthly newsletter. If their websites have updates that are two years old, volunteer to write an update yourself.

Even if organizations are non-profits, they can still have articles or reminders to become knowledgeable of who is running, and to vote for people that support their cause. You can put out a lot of information without naming names or parties by just steering people toward non partisan references.

Preaching to the choir is feckless.
You preach to the choir because the choir sings, and the rest of the people hear it. It's called positive reinforcement, energizing the base, or even sharing ideas. You're also talking to persuadable people. Don't waste your time in a discussion with LEVO or MDA people. You're not going to change their minds and just piss them off. Kind of like the pig/mud/not being able to tell the difference thing.
