Before you say "universal is a piece of crap" let me beat you to it and say "yes they are".
However, somehow when they were building this little guy they knew what they were doing, same with the early serial numbers. This one is in the 9 thousand serial number range meaning one of the early ones most likely using mostly GI spare parts great. This thing shoots great, fun gun, just doesn't get enough love from me.
Will warn, it does have two smallish cracks in the stock which you can see in the pictures. (4th and 5th) However I've never had them get any bigger, and they shouldn't be an issue in function as I've shot this gun numerous times and have had no issue. It is missing a but plate but does come with a (I believe) surplus sling and oiler. Come with 1 regular capacity mag and a handful of .30 carb ammo I have that you're more than welcome to take with you.
Use it as a shooter, use it as parts fun, or just add a butt plate and it's good to go.
