I've been on the notify list at Midway for a couple of years. I don't carry a smart phone around 24 hours a day, one that beeps when a message comes in like my grandson. Which might've helped me get some .45-70 brass sooner. Because every time I see the message in my email account via my PC, by the time I get back to them, they are sold out again. Here I'm talking about two to three hours. The other day, I must've hit it lucky because I got the message, then went to their site and found that it was still available.
Not that I needed masses. I had about 40 cases on hand. I wanted another 100, "just in case." Not that I do that much blasting away with .45-70. The 40 +/- cases that I already had came from gun shows in baggies on two different occasions.
