Ok, here's the deal.
I have a damaged spotting scope. The lens cap on the eye piece stuck on
and when it was "wrenched" on to get it off, the eye piece broke off the ring holding
it two the scope body. (See picture). And the lens cap is still stuck on the eye piece.
