Surefire spare parts?

Accidentally did a 4ft drop test in my house with my g17….and my surefire exploded. Not exactly the durability I expected but whatever. Anyone bought spare parts for these lights?

There legitimately isn't haha. I had it pinned under my elbow while I was grabbing some jackets to go out to my car and it slipped out and sent surefire switch parts all over.

Contact Surefire, they'd probably be interested in doing an autopsy on it.

And that happened with it mounted on the G17?

Not calling you a liar. Just very hard to believe after seeing the amount of abuse they take first hand.

Yeap. It stayed on the pistol just fine, must have landed on the switch just right and split the hinge plastic parts.

It's got a bunch of holster marks on it so as long as it works I'm happy.

I broke multiple switches on the streamlight TLR1s which is why I ended up swapping to the X300. Hope I never have that issue. Haha.

Was it a Gen 5 Glock?

No it's on a gen3, one of the Grey Ghost made ones when they were in Lakewood still. Had a full mag in so there was some weight to it. Idk I prob just got lucky.

Gotcha. I got this on this frame in a trade, fit nice a snug so never really looked at the other insert/tab.
