I use the Earthquake Pro app on my smart phone and sent an alert for the 6,2 that happened off of the Northern California coast.

Oregon media will hype the activity just to keep everybody scared. However they fail to tell you the activity is so deep and far off the Oregon coast that nobody feels 96% of the events. When you see 40 to lets say 300 events a day on shake maps that's better than seeing no activity for long periods of time. From 1975 to 2012 I rode out my share of quakes and when it comes to catastrophic events, I'll take quakes over tornados any day. If you nerd out over seismic stuff. Dr. Kate Hutton and Chris Goldfinger are two you should follow.
