Went out to Bulldog Tuff Safes out in Warren and dealt with Jodi. She was great and took the time to walk me through all the safes they had in my size/price range requirements. Ended up purchasing a Rhino Warthog (RW6042X) for a hell of a price. They will be at my house Sunday to deliver and bolt the new safe to the floor, way faster than I expected. I'll post some pics up when it's delivered.

If anyone is in the need for a safe, definitely check out Bulldog Tuff Safes, the in-store price was actually better than what they had listed online: Bulldog Tuff Safes - office safes, gun safes and more!

P.S. Anyone know why they aren't listed under the review section? I would love to leave them a great review.

Thanks for the link to Bulldog. They have some nice holsters.
It took me a minute sitting in their "parking lot" to realize I was at the place. They run the business from their property and only have a very small sign in their window. They've got a nice showroom with several brands on hand. Just a little confusing at first, I was expecting more of a storefront. ;)

Lol, this was me when I went there to look.

I bought my safe from them as well. I went with a Superior, solid steel door with relocker and a bunch of other fancy doohickeys.

Great service and great products.

I think Jodi sensed my confusion watching me in my car from the security cameras. She came outside to great me. :D

I looked at the superiors also, really nice but for the size I wanted they were a bit (a lot) out of my price range. :p

Yep, she did the sa,e when I rolled up. She was really nice and not once tried to push anything on me.

My wife said I could go a little nuts on this safe, as it was replacing a very inexpensive Stackon that had little to no security. I feel very secure with the Superior.

I had the same experience, Jodi was great and my daughter loved the little Bulldog mascot. I can't remember the dogs name though. :)

That safe was super cool, I really liked the door organizer. I thought hard about it but that safe is giant and I'm pretty sure my wife would have murdered me if I came home e with that thing . :p

Ya I would have to do some of the best talking in my life to get the wife to sign off on that one! :D But it doesn't mean I don't want one!

Well, the safe was delivered today.

Here it is right after it made it into my house:

Here it is in my office:

Here it is without the home brewed LED kit I put toegther:

And here it is with the LED lights I put in. I might add more lights later but it seems good for now.

I'm not posting any pictures with stuff in it, don't want you savages to know what I have. :p:D

If anyone is interested, here are the items I put together for the LED light kit:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DKSI0S8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - Power Supply
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WQFP3AO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - LEDs
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JLB0GM6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - Motion Sensor
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DM7F052/ref=od_aui_detailpages01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - Right Angle Connectors
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DM7F2T6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - 3 way splitter (haven't used any of these yet)

$53 lighting kit, much better than the $150 that Rhino wanted for their kit. Plus I have enough left over to do another safe if I really wanted to. :)

edit... if you don't have power in your safe, you can do the same setup with a battery pack instead of a power supply, something like this:

This is very helpful, I've been wanting to replace my battery operated units... Thanks for the info...

I can't quite tell from the photo, but by any chance is that rifle rack on a hinge? It almost looks like it could tilt out to make it easier to get to the guns in the back. THAT would be an awesome feature. Thinking about it now, I can't believe no one has ever done that before. Got me thinking about whether I could find a way to mod my safe to do that.....Maybe a sliding floor plate.....

Thanks for the link! I see they carry Gunvault Mini Vaults at a very reasonable price. I have a few of these, at home and work, and really like them for quick access.
