Smoked chicken BBQ pizza. Turned out great for my first time.

Flour, water, salt, yeast. Knead until pizza dough texture. I've experimented with a bunch of recipes, but nothing tastes as good as the simple ones.

3c bread flour
1 pack of yeast
Pinch of salt
~1¼c warm water

Safeway has Ribeye or T-Bone buy one get one free. So we will be doing two steaks out on the charcoal grill with acouple ears of corn.

I added some Plum & Hazzelnut chuncks of wood to the charcoal for flavoring.

Winco has first of the season Butter & Sugar corn.
For best results cook them in the full husk and silk on the grill over indirect heat (no need to pre-soak).
They are done when the husk is brown and crispy.
This method concentrates the sugars in the corn.

Best corn on the cob you ever had.

I'm knocking primers out of some 7mm08 brass and enjoying some domestic amber fluid.
I bought a T/C Encore that came with a fifteen inch 7mm08 barrel, bought some once fired brass to load for this barrel.

OK, I'll date myself.

I remember (over 30 years ago) when brisket was inexpensive as in 50 cents a lb.

I bbq'd one a week.

Now, they want $50.00 or more for an average size brisket. I didn't look at the lb. price as seeing that cost p.o.'d me, consarn it. Yeah, I can afford it, but I don't buy them at that price because of their previous cost (my wife laughs at my 'but g.d. it used to cost mantra') and the new cost makes me grit my teeth.

Hell, they want as much for skirt steak (once considered poor people meat) as prime steak.

Nope, not gonna buy that either.

Did a brisket on Father's Day.... put it on the pellet smoker-grill at 3am, and pulled it off at 2:30pm, then and hour wrapped in foil to rest in a insulated cooler....
