Semi custom Sako AV “Fiberclass” in .338 Win Mag

Sako Fiberclass AV model in .338 Win Mag- the rifles has a clean, crisp trigger, and the barrel, action and Sako rings are matte hard chrome plated. It is Mag-Na-Ported. I've hunted with this a lot- barreled action is in nice shape. The stock has some wear evident. The rifle includes a Minox ZA3 (European optics) scope that has been a nice match.

Selling due to shoulder surgery. Moving along some of my heavier recoiling rifles. The factory recoil pad is a rock. It can be replaced, but the rifles is just a little too much for me now.

$1,200 as it sits. Can separate the scope if desired. Would ask $925 for the bare rifle. Fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Transfer to take place in the Portland metro area.

Those are really nice guns. The fiberglass stock is more like a McMillan (might even be), and nothing like the injection molded stocks you see on a lot of other guns. Those rings look like Leupold, not Sako.

Yes, good call. Rings are Leupold. Can't keep my Sako rifles straight.

As I understand the stock was contracted by McMillan… as reported on some Sako forums.
