Seems way overpriced but I guess that's par for the course for when things are first released. I'd rather have the 10mm version personally. But it's cool to have options. Does anyone know if 45 acp bump fires well? The 9mm Stribog bump fires pretty good.

Why the holy bubbleguming goddamn bubbleguming bubblegumknobbing hell have I not bubbleguming known about this bubbleguming thing in 10bubblegumingmm bubblegumign existed?

Godbubblegumingdamnit I need to move back to the bubbleguming USA so I can buy that bubbleguming thing.

Oh, uh, yeah, .45 is kinda neato too, I guess.

10mm review. Price isn't that bad compared to the .45

I likes my Stribog A2 in 9mm. I wanted a thumper and recently got a Foxtrot Mike lower and upper in .45acp for a mere $650. I do think the new Stribog is overpriced but I guess I am not its target audience. The guys at Global Ordnance are good folks.

Thumper you say? You need one of these (12.5") :D

Or even smaller (8.5")

I shall call it a BRCC (Battle Rifle Caliber Carbine) :s0112: 12.5" recoil is about same as 300 BLK.

Video of 12.5" semi auto shooting and then binary. Binary looks like a bit much for .308 imo (with practice might be ok) but semi auto very mild and smooth.

Do most people order Stribogs directly from Global Ordnance, or is it better to go through a different distributor?
What do you mean by "better"? Do you mean cheaper? If so try Kentucky gun co for cheaper 10mm Stribog. Also check gunzone deals.

Global ordnance has 9mm older mags for $8.99 occasionally. Go to hb industries for reduced weight trigger springs (these work well) and other stuff. Their fan compensators (shown below) really work well fwiw. stocks and braces you have to look around as their are a gazillion different kinds.

I've toyed with adding an SBRed Stribog in 9㎜ for years, but just can't justify adding another pattern of magazine to the mix. Neat that they are offering them in 10㎜ Auto and .45 ACP these days. :)

I'm tempted to get one of these. Price is $1179 now at bet armory (email price). Can't justify it cuz primarily a shock and awe weapon but my 12.5" barrel one is the funnest gun I own and the 8.5" one may be even more fun. 12.5" only loses 5% in velocity compared to 16". But 8.5" loses 20% velocity compared to 16". Recoil for 12.5" is mild, about like 300 blackout. Mags are $5. Already threaded for standard buffer tube so easy to add a brace.

Video with velocity comparisons and you can see recoil on the 16" vs 12.5" vs 8.5" if anybody cares:

For 9mm global ordnance has sales on mags for 8.99 sometimes . I think new stribogs come with 6 mags now, or at least the ones I've seen on gun deals do. You can also get Glock mag lowers either after purchase or new gun with Glock mag lower. I'm not a fan of the looks of the Glock mag lower myself but it's nice that there are options. Gunzone deals often has sales on stribogs.

Six mags, you say? Nice. And didn't know about Glock mag lower. Wife's carbine involved buying a number of 33-round Glock mags, so compatibility there. Thanks for the info. :s0155:
Fwiw If you do a search on gunzonedeals website for "Stribog" it will bring up a bunch of different versions. Some that show as out of stock will come back in stock. Basic Glock lower roller delayed version is $881

Too many versions to list. Mini, regular 8" barrel, 16" carbine. .22, 9mm, 10mm, .45. Regular (cheaper) and roller delayed (smoother recoil) versions of many of those. Different stock and brace packages.

FF to 3:50. The AVT40 handles the 7.62X54R just fine.
