I doubt you can get them down to $400 but you will save money on transfer fees compared to private purchase. They had two as of Saturday before last.

Those are definitely going to be the best price you will see on the HK locally (or likely elsewhere) unless someone is just desperate to unload one, especially when you figure in a transfer fee on top of the private purchase.

I am pretty confident if somebody comes in this Friday or Saturday, with cash, that they can pick up one of these VP9s for less than the asking price.

That may be true, unfamiliar with that shop, though most won't take a 20% hit unless it's been sitting for ages.

Definitely find out what all the cost will be upfront whether it be a new or used , local or shipped in . That may hedge which way to go . Good luck .
