If you read the actual law...Andy54Hawken said:

A tube fed .22 rifle is not subject to the new law / restrictions...nor are lever action tube fed rifles of any caliber."
But center-fire slide action tubular magazines are NOT exempt, only lever actions!

Slide action tube magazine rifles are not an issue with 1240, as slide actions, they are specifically exempted. Extract from the text:But center-fire slide action tubular magazines are NOT exempt, only lever actions
if you had it before the law went into effect its grandfathered in I don't believe you can sell it to anybody but out of state. check your laws or call the ATF they would know.I think the "magazine" or tube holds 19 rounds.

How would the ATF know what's legal or not for the State of WA? after all, they "didn't know" that pistol braces were stocksif you had it before the law went into effect its grandfathered in I don't believe you can sell it to anybody but out of state. check your laws or call the ATF they would know.
if they don't they better know who does or check with your police departmentHow would the ATF know what's legal or not for the State of WA? after all, they "didn't know" that pistol braces were stocks
It does not fall under the 1240 definition of an assault rifle, but any legal-to-purchase semi-automatic rifle requires a 10 day waiting period. This went into effect in January 2023. I just bought a lever action rifle and took it home within 1 hour. But starting Jan. 1 2024, any and all firearms will require a 10 day wait period.I just bought one but I have to wait 10 days because it is an assault rifle.
The flow chart here answers that HB 1240 question pretty clearly; no guesswork or memory involved. The chart has already been posted in NWFA forums several times, but re-posting seems worthwhile whenever the "WA AW" question comes up.I think the "magazine" or tube holds 19 rounds.
