Columbia South Carolina target shooting

Hey fellas, Google hasn't been much help on finding a place to plink outdoors in Columbia.

Heading to Fort Jackson to attend my son's Army BCT graduation. I'll be with my daughter and my ex, I'd like to find a place to shoot with them in our free time.
Anyone familiar with the wooded areas out there that we could shoot?

Sumter National Forest is northwest of Columbia.
Maybe that's an option ?
