Republican senators file ethics complaint against Sen. Mitchell after burglary arrest

"Republican members of the Minnesota Senate filed an ethics complaint shortly after noon on Wednesday against fellow Sen. Nicole Mitchell (DFL-Woodbury).

The complaint comes one day after Mitchell was formally charged with first-degree burglary for allegedly breaking into her stepmother's Detroit Lakes home early Monday morning."

Did that YouTuber become a damn gold shill, too? I used to like her but damn... She's gonna be just as bad as guns and gadgets soon

That's a bit freaky. The homeowner first encountered the intruder by almost tripping over her getting out of bed... as the intruder was laying on the floor next to the bed. At the time she had no idea who it was and thought it was a man.

I'm sure the burglar had a pretty good idea if her step mother was armed or not, but "what if", after her husband recently passed away and was alone in the house, she had decided to purchase a firearm? Little woketard mighta ended up a puddle in a chalk outline.

The political shenanigans and partisan justice charades should be interesting to see in the coming days.

If if were possible to lay bets on the outcomes of stuff like this I could very likely make some good coinage! :D

It could make a person wonder if the good Minnesota senator didn't maybe see the recent report naming Oregon as the most corrupt state in the union and had an, "Oh yeah!?? Hold my wine glass!" moment(?)

The level of idiocy in the narrative she tried to sell to her colleagues and constituents is quite mind boggling. The woke brain on full throttle. :D

It doesn't shock me in the slightest, besides OR beating out IL and NY on corruption. Got a link to that said corruption report?

Here's part of the initial news story reporting the arrest:
When police arrived, officers searched the basement and found Mitchell dressed entirely in black clothing and a black hat.

While being detained, the complaint says Mitchell told the victim that she was trying to get a couple of things belonging to her dad, who recently died, because the woman wouldn't talk to Mitchell anymore.

Police say they also found a flashlight near Mitchell that was covered with a black sock and a black backpack stuck in a basement window. In the backpack, the complaint says officers found two laptops and a cellphone, plastic containers as well as her driver's license and her Senate ID.

The document goes on to say Mitchell said she had "just gotten into the house" and "clearly I'm not good at this."

While speaking with police, the complaint says Mitchell wanted various items belonging to her late father, including his ashes, however the woman who called police wouldn't give them to her.
And here's her lawyer's spin on it:

Bruce Rinstrom, Mitchell's lawyer, told ABC station in Fargo WDAY that Mitchell was trying to get into the house to check on her stepmother's welfare since she doesn't let anyone visit.

"Ms. Mitchell actually had a key to this house because of her long-term relationship, but the relationship has essentially deteriorated because I believe, the cognitive decline of her stepmother," he said.

"If someone is paranoid and they barricade the door, they don't allow visitors, so that you can't even check on their welfare, that sort of necessitates an alternative means of entry to check on things and to recover those items that she feels are appropriate and were promised and are hers," he continued.
So it was all just a big misunderstanding - the whole episode was TOTALLY about checking on the welfare of that person, just being a good family member and making sure they're ok. Who is actually going to buy that bull?

One party tends to be REAL good at corruption. They are so good at it because when caught they circle the wagons and till the bitter end will defend almost all caught. Other side seems to not be able to kick anyone who is even suspected of anything to the curb instantly. So they can say look at us, we are so virtues. Meanwhile the other side is having a good laugh that their corrupt are still in power. :s0092:

The problem is though, that the general public -- and most of those that actually vote -- seem to believe all the crap that these folks put forth.

Yeah, the story of U.S. Senator Menendez is a classic. And his stories were classic, too. "All the cash and gold bars were just in case of an emergency."

In June 2022, the FBI executed a search warrant at the New Jersey home of MENENDEZ and NADINE MENENDEZ. During that search, the FBI found many of the fruits of this bribery scheme, including cash, gold, the luxury convertible, and home furnishings. Over $480,000 in cash — much of it stuffed into envelopes and hidden in clothing, closets, and a safe — was discovered in the home, as well as over $70,000 in cash in NADINE MENENDEZ's safe deposit box, which was also searched pursuant to a separate search warrant. Some of the envelopes contained the fingerprints and/or DNA of DAIBES or his driver. Other of the envelopes were found inside jackets bearing MENENDEZ's name and hanging in his closet, as depicted below.

During this same search, agents also found home furnishings provided by HANA and DAIBES, the luxury vehicle paid for by URIBE parked in the garage, as well as over one hundred thousand dollars' worth of gold bars in the home, which were provided by either HANA or DAIBES. Two of the gold bars DAIBES provided are
depicted in the photographs below.

Just watch -- New Jersey will elect another Democrat to replace him this year. Menendez was the freakin' Chair of the Senate Foreign Relation Committee for gosh sakes. MSN and CNN (and the stalwarts, CBS, NBC, ABC) talked about the case for a few days, and in the last year, crickets. This senior U.S. senator was being bribed by an Arab country and three corrupt NJ businessmen.

The mainstream media says, "But Trump, Trump, Trump." Allegedly screwed a porn star and had his lawyer pay her a couple hundred grand to shut up during the election cycle. What's worse?

All that and he is STILL in power and supported by his party.

At least you can fast forward through that shet. I don't watch any videos directly on YT anymore because the ads are so obnoxious.
That's why I put the time stamps in a note, because there's no avoiding her endorsement advertising.

I personally don't spite people for trying to survive financially in today's difficult world, that's getting tougher by the day.
