Purchased new by me, and never fired - SAKO S20 chambered in 6.5mm PRC. This is a stainless rifle, with fluted barrel, and silver Cerakote. Barrel is threaded 5/8-24.

$1220 cash, not interested in trades. Prefer to meet at A Cut Above in Beaverton.

When I made the original post, I completely forgot that I also purchased the Precision forend to replace the Hunter forend. The Precision forend adds MLOK slots to the sides and bottom, while still providing the QD sockets on the sides.

Both the Precision and Hunter forends will be included.

Here's the rifle with the Precision version installed. This is the way that I would configure the rifle, if I were to use it.

I think it strikes a really good balance between a standard synthetic hunting rifle and a chassis-equipped rifle in this format. The pistol grip is more comfortable for offhand shots to me, compared to a vertical grip on a tactical stock or chassis. And is very stable for prone shooting. I find that some vertical grips are not great for offhand and require careful pressure from prone to prevent the rifle from moving. Sako did a surprisingly good job with the Hunter buttstock and pistol grip. It looks ugly to me, but is very ergonomic!

The stock is also more like a chassis with plastic skins. There's an alloy spine that the action attaches to. Loosely based on the TRG design.

Now open to trades, +/- cash. Let me know what you have.

Preference:
  • S&W revolvers - mostly older stainless models, but open to others
  • Mauser 98 rifles - mostly hunting style, but will consider others
  • Knives - Spyderco, LT Wright, Gene Ingram
  • Optics - quality binocular, spotting scope (mid to upper range)
