Have done two transfers through them. Staff was friendly and helpful both times. I would recommend them to anyone in the area. Only gripe was transfer fees are cash only.
Been here a couple times for person to person transfers. They're good for sellers, will hold on to the gun if the buyer is put into the queue. Price for the transfer is great at $25 or $30 (can't recall). The $3 charge to copy the sellers license is stupid but whatever. Pawn shop level of selection for random guns to gaze at, sadly at pawn shop pricing.
I normally don't go to pawnshop anymore besides FFL transfer thru Tigard Pawn. These people might fall short in some areas but what I see is they are trying to do their best in in tough times to help people that in need of quick cash. I have nothing against buying low and sell high because that is how business revolves. It is up to you if you want to pursue. Other than this, I see them very attentive and they will serve you in the best that can even at times they are short handed. I will definitely always go back here because I don't see any dishonesty at all. These people are highly recommended by Northwest Firearm and other Portland groups.
Not the best service since it's a Pawn Shop, but good enough for the price
I've used Tigard Pawn for More many times for FFL transfers. They are always inexpensive and depending on when you go it can either be a very long afternoon or a quick in and out. I'll continue to use for them the pricing and location
I live in Clackamas but will always drive across town to use for my FFL transfers. Very quick service in the evenings and patient employees. As long as you remember to bring cash as they are cash only you will be in and out asap
I went in for a transfer and it was quick, easy, and friendly. I checked out a rifle they had on the rack while I was there and came back a couple weeks later to buy it. Quick, easy, and friendly again! This is a great shop!
I recommend this place for FFL transfers. They processed a handful of transfers for me when the wait list was at 13k. Released after 3-5 days due to my CHL.
came in during covid they had a system of 1 customer or group at a time which was understandable and the younger gentleman help us out selecting a hunting rifle for us. we settled with a savage 25.06 with scope and case and for the price it was amazing and out the door in less than an hour for our BGC. it has been awhile since i been there so rely on the more recent reviews. biggest news is that their unbeatable firearm transfer price shot up 10 dollars from 25 to 35. which is still nothing to sneeze at since more FFL charge 50-65 dollars so take it with a grain of salt.
