Your NFA Smoothbores?

I thought it might be neat to have a picture thread dedicated to registered NFA smoothbores. There are shotgun, or shotgun-like, items that fall into the SBS, AOW, and DD classifications.

I'll get us started ...



Top is a SxS Coach Gun with an 11" barrel. The bottom is the Serbu Super Shorty. Both are in 12-gauge (2¾" and 3" chambers, respectively). The Serbu sure it a handful, but it is fun and easy to pack. I've found the 00-Buck Mini-Shells are good loads in the SxS, though they don't cycle 100% in our pumps.

I have one of the Serbu's as well. It is definitely a handful. Would like to do a shortened coach gun myself, but was thinking something like this: BEAR CLAW

I like the look of the pistol grip SBS side by sides. Just for fun of course. Not much practical use to it.

Full auto and guns with shorter barrels were labeled as gangster weapons in 1934 and we've been stuck with it since. Plus full auto and guns with shorter barrels are scarier.
