Ok...the bolt action firing pin is resolved.
Now I'm disassembling a Franz Stock-Berlin. 32cal. for complete cleaning, stripping, and re-nickle plating. It all went well until the final screw that retains the safety lever. It seems to me that in the past, someone tried to rmove the safety lever by trying to drive the pin out, possibly wedging the retaining screw. Normally, that screw would be easy to remove. The safety lever must come out before re-nickling. Does anyone know if the safety lever pin can be driven out without inflicting serious damage to the frame? I guess I could forego nickling and just strip, polish and blue. Any advice is welcome. Thank you, Bill Campbell.
