Yah, I'm waiting to see how that goes. Would like to get a few.As you're in Oregon, it's up for debate if 114 will impact suppressor sales with the permit to purchase. I'd wait and see what shakes out. To answer your question, my suppressed VQ always puts a smile on my face. My suppressed 92G is almost as much fun.
That is something you have to decide. With subsonic calibers/rounds, I enjoy them.In this day and age in Oregon, is a suppressor worth the effort?
Kind of a moot point. I buy a LOT of stuff that many would look at and say they don't understand. Have multiple guns set up to take a can. Wife and I have gone back and forth setting up a trust to buy a couple (at least) cans. The trouble is really the only reason we have not yet done so. I guess in a way its good for me as if I could just walk into a shop and buy the stamps I know full well I would have several by now.In this day and age in Oregon, is a suppressor worth the effort?
Most definitely yes, depending on the application and your expected benefits. In this day and age in Oregon, is a suppressor worth the effort?
Live without them.....yes. do my job without them....noI have never owned a suppressor but shot a couple guns with them and don't really see the need.
Understand however essentially ALL my shooting is outside, in the woods, and report is not so much an issue but even then the guns I shot with them (ARs) weren't that much quieter.
Personally I see them as sort of a trumped up 'fad' device considering 10 years ago I hardly ever heard about them - and now a days it seems like many cannot live without them.
I gotta admit, I'm pretty much with RVTECH on this one. I have nothing against them or the people who own them, but they just don't do anything for me. That's fine; everyone likes different things. Different strokes, and all that.I have never owned a suppressor but shot a couple guns with them and don't really see the need.

True dat. Or if you are shooting 22lr subsonics suppressed in the house, it's the same sound level as dropping a pen on the floor.Yes they are worth it, several of my fiends have bought one or two after shooting mine.
Big plus is not blowing your ears out if you have to shoot in the house.
