Growing up we'd go out Shotgun Creek but that was a long time ago. I'm looking for a place on public land to take my dad shooting before things get funky with rules. Can anyone suggest a place either here or on DM?

Mary's Peak area? Otherwise, I'm not sure about the Eugene area (except some public land parcels in downtown!).

Look on the BLM websight or search out BLM lands in the area.

driving to hope you can find a spot and worry about who else may be lurking and counting rounds
