AR-15 .22 cal. w/1-16 twist, 16" barrel

I have built a .22cal. on a AR-15 platform using a CMMG .22 cal drop in bolt conversion and a AR-15 .22 cal. 16" barrel w/1-16 twist.

My question is;

Can I replace the CMMG .22 cal. bolt and drop in an AR-15 .223 cal. bolt and shoot ,223cal. in the 1-16 twist barrel?

A dedicated 22cal barrel (I'm assuming since it's the 1:16 twist) will not accomodate a standard .223/5.56 bolt... so no.

22lr chambered barrel = 22lr.
556 chambered barrel + CMMG 22lr chamber adapter = 22lr.
22lr chambered barrel + 556 bolt and carrier = I can't close my gun.
