I love coming to Pantel for any of my firearm needs. They are easy to work with. When I came there for my first firearm purchase, they guided me through the process without any headaches.
The staff is also very friendly. They aren't afraid to spark up a friendly conversation. While I was waiting for paper work to be processed, one of the staff members let me inspect his lever-action rifle build. It inspired me to build my own lever rifle a few months later.
Good prices, especially after factoring in the licensing fee
Cons
Make sure you have your 'proof of sales tax' on you when doing the initial paperwork
I've purchased both a new weapon from this shop, as well as used them for my FFL for Gunbroker purchases. So I've had 3 exchanges with this shop in the last couple of months
I've used two other local shops, and have not come across the following issue previously. I went to fill out the paperwork to get the background check for the gun I had shipped there; I would have to return to take receipt of the gun, once the check was complete. The woman counterperson asked for proof that I had paid sales tax to the seller. I said I didn't have the receipt on me, can I just bring it when I pick up the gun after background check. 'Nope, violates our process flow protocol. You can't even fill out the background check paperwork without the tax proof'.
Given they had my gun and my $40 for the transfer fee, I did not appreciate such an attitude and lack of flexibility. Obviously, they can run their business any way they want to, but if you want to avoid an extra trip, make sure you have your receipt showing sales tax payment.
The service and staff at Pantel Tactical are awesome. Very friendly, super knowledgeable, and great selection of items. I have already used them for a second transfer and made retail purchases as well. A++
Received a can and an online transfer through here, everything was good.
Also purchased a bunch of accessories over the years.
Pretty good crew over here.
Coolest part were the arcade machines, but didn't see them working last time.
Transferred and purchased quite a few guns from there. It's easy to chat with the crew while you wait. Occasional doodoo bags go there feigning ignorance about gun safety and gun laws (no I'm not taking about new gun owners) and you get quite a good show.
Visited with a friend to pick up a rifle. Small shop with limited inventory. Great access to high in tactical weapons. If I need another halo gun for my collection, this is the first place I will look.
I've been a patron for several years now. The employees are friendly and knowledgable. The shop has a great selection of firearms and related items. Their prices are reasonable.
Pantel has always taken care of my needs. Staff there are honest, and actually know what they are talking about. Transfer fees are low and they always make sure your needs are taken care of.
Pantel Tactical handled a handgun transfer from here to an FFL in California. Seamless trustworthy and value oriented service. I highly recommend the Pantel Tactical for all your firearm needs, wants and desires!
My favorite shop in the state. I've been to many gun shops from Olympia to Everett and this spot has been the most consistent in terms of service, prices, and actually having items I want in stock. Awesome group over there!
Pantel Tactical handled a handgun transfer from Seattle to my FFL in Reno, Nevada. Seamless trustworthy and value oriented service. I highly recommend the Pantel Tactical for all your firearm needs, wants and desires!
