We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
I have been here multiple times, even when they don't quite have what I am looking for they are always helpful in helping me find out where to find it.
This is the shop I like firearm shopping the most. It's a big shop with plenty of space and a good sized parking lot. The employees are friendly and quick to ask if I needed any help. The friendly shop dog is a welcoming sight also that helps greet people when they come in. I've only had good experiences while shopping here.
Been a customer for a few years. They have a Silencer Shop and know how to get you through the paperwork. Also a Benchmade dealer with fairly good selection. Top notch Sig dealership. They are okay with ammo and accessories.
They seem to have gotten hit hard by the demand wave that started a couple of years ago. If you are a customer that can wait in line and be respectful, they will take care of you. If you have no tolerance for lines and demand instant service, you will be very disappointed.
Mid mornings on weekdays seem to be lower traffic.
This was an awesome shop to walk into.
I was driving around looking for a shop. Being disappointed in the last shop I'd seen that day I was genuinely great full to walk into a shop with an amazing selection of new products. Especially if your a SIG SAUER fan. They had wall to wall selection of many firearms, some I had not seen in years in a local shop. Every person I talked to on different trips had knowledge of any. Subject I had. ☆Check them out☆
I think in the early 2010's this was the best gun shop in all of Oregon. Good selection with fair prices and quality customer service. I feel that they still have a good selection and fair prices, but their customer service has hit the floor over the last couple of years. Trying to chat with the staff at this store feels like pulling teeth. They are no longer personable like the staff at other shops in the area. Their concern seems to be getting you in and out with a sale made as quickly as possible.
For the longest time I felt I was the only one who wasn't enjoying my visits to their store. They were always busy so it must be good, right? I think their modern day success is because they established a name for themselves years ago and because they're endorsed by a popular radio talk show. I think if they were a brand new shop they wouldn't last long with the level of customer service they provide today.
I know I'm not the only one feeling this way because I just saw another customer comment this on a local gun group just yesterday.
I have bought a number of guns in the recent months and Overall, my experience at Northwest Armory was outstanding. The staff's expertise, the vast selection, fair prices, and commitment to safety make it a top-tier destination for firearm enthusiasts. Whether you're a casual shooter or a serious collector, Northwest Armory in Milwaukie is a must-visit. I'll undoubtedly be returning for all my future firearm needs.
I have been doing business with both of the NW Armory stores. The Portland store is a lot larger and has more staff so I get in and out quickly. The prices are in line with other stores selling the same item. You can also look on the web site for what the inventory is at the store. If you are in the area stop by and take a look lots to see.
Ordered an Aero lower off their website last week, had to be shipped from their Scottsdale store but I was sent an email to come pick it up as soon as it got there. Went in, no hassle, greeted and treated well by the staff and was told to come back the following Tuesday for pick-up as it's 3 day release.
All around great service and experience, will definitely be returning to them for more purchases in the future
For defensive and competition firearms this is a great place. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful. Also they are open to chatting, and giving advice. Probably my favorite gun store, but I did go to Sportsman's for their wider selection when I have gone out to buy hunting guns.
I really love this place. Customer service is hit and miss. But really just do to being busy. Totally get it. Will continue to shop here. I would recommend.
I've used these folks for magazines and a firearm purchase. I went in knowing what I was after but also did some "window shopping" and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable. They were busy, but staffed appropriately.
I've been here a number of times over the years, and mostly I get very good service. Sometimes it's so busy it takes a while, but oh well. Lots of selection!
picked up a new Leupold 4-12x40 cds scope. the only place in town that had what I was looking for. always friendly and helpful staff and competitive pricing.
