my son in law just bought a Sig Sauer 10mm pistol. he is an army vet, served a combat tour in Iraq. left the army 18 years ago and just bought his first gun last week. any opinions on this gun?

I have one and like it. I like it better than my Glock 20. It doesn't feel so bulky in my hand as the Glock.

Super nice guns but not as popular because of their price over the other polymer options. The only issue I see is their magazines are also expensive and no 10rd options if 114 ever gets resurrected here. If I owned one Id stock up on their standard mags now with a few extra while they are still available.
Ive shot my friends and its a very nice gun, your son did well with choosing it.
