Has anyone out there had a problem with their SKS refusing to smoothly chamber that first manually chambered round into the barrel ? My first round is difficult to chamber. It gets cocked half in & half out. I think it has something to do with the magazines that came with the gun. But after I do get that first round in and shot off, - she autos perfectly there after until the mag is empty. .............???.......? ? Any comments ? Help ?

Either get the Tapco plastic 20rd mags (Im assuming you have moded it to take detachables)
or
dig out a 10rd fixed mag and make the lips on the mag that wont feed the same length (some of the metal ones are to long)
or
use a dremel to shave down the bottom 1/4 of the area where it is getting jammed to make a smoother feed ramp, these were designed to shoot FMJ not HP rounds.
Hope this helps.
