Last Christmas, I installed the highly regarded CDM Mod-C Flashlight Clamp on my 870, paired with a Surefire G2X. Yesterday I took it out to shoot and the clamp started moving forward on me after a box of slugs. The flashlight was marred and blackened but still functions perfectly (Surefire: great products).

Do you guys have any simple tips/hacks to keep the flashlight mounts from sliding forward? I used the spacers/inserts that were included with the clamp. Should I write CDM and ask for more Spacers? Use Duct Tape? I don't want to use Loctite since this gun is frequently converted back and forth from Home Defense to Trap Shooting config.

Is the screw coming loose? Blue loctite would solve that problem. Contrary to internet beliefs, medium and low strength loctite screws are easily removed.
