50 mph, that would be fast enough to stay safe, mostly.
In 11 years of owning the truck, I've never let it run out. The closest I think I've ever come is at the 50 mile warning.

When I'm on a long trip towing a lot, I'll bring an extra 2.5 gallon container.

It's not really the big boogeyman some want to make it out to be. Would I prefer it wasn't there? Of course, but you deal with the BS presented, much like background checks and the litany of firearm restrictions we face.

This is the "free" world we live in now.
 
On one hand, internal combustion engines so far makes more sense for vehicles for now, environmentally, materially, and reliably. :rolleyes:

On the other hand... I haven't seen a gas/diesel engined sewing or milling/turning engine :s0140: :s0140:

Fuel powered generators giving the electricity to them, oh yes. Plenty of them.

Battery banks powering industrial electric motored equipment? Not really.
